So it’s April 2024 and you’re just looking for the easiest way to play some retro games on your F: stick: F TV Android TV device. Now you don’t want to faf about trying to find emulators online. You don’t want to look around for ROMs or anything like that who just want a oneclick repository or oneclick gaming Library, where you can just browse a massive collection of games. One click choose your game and you can more or less start playing that game in less than 10 seconds, and so in this article today, let me show you this great application, fully updated for 2024, which will give you access to that massive Library, absolutely free, and You can really go ahead and enjoy all of your favorite retro games across all of your devices, so please do take a moment to hit that like button make sure you hit that subscribe button.

For this application, that’s one there. You can click on that scroll down click on downloads! Now I’ll install the latest version directly on your device once you’ve done that, let’s now press the home button, okay, so before we open up the application for the first time, let’s quickly pair up a Bluetooth controller, so I can go to settings. Go to Bluetooth devices. Go to game controllers and we can see on my device I’ve already paired an Xbox One controller as soon as it’s paired you can see. I can then use a controller to navigate around the five stick home screen, but, of course, on your Android TV devices, you can also pair up any other controller, a USB controller or different type of controller.
As long as the controller connects to your device, you can then use that in this retro application, which I’m now going to open for the first time. Let’S click on that now there was some concerns with this application. I think a few years back, whereby, if you scan this application in varus totor, I think it did have a few, although they were actually confirmed as false posit positives. It did look a bit scary, whereas this application of scaned with virus total and, as you can see, there’s zero warnings. Okay, so the application has a a quite interesting, unique layout.
We can see at the top here we’ve got recommended which are some recommended games. Then you got topic which is actually more like uh genres collections type of games. Then you have categories categories, basically, where you can create filters and say I’m only looking for Mega Drive games from USA, for example, and that will then filter out the content. For for you and management will show you games that you’ve already downloaded or the ones which are currently being downloaded on the top right here you can see it does allow you to plug in a USB drive with your games as long as your drive is formatted, As fat 32 create the folders, as you see on there and put your ROMs inside so if I want to play uh PS1 games I’ll have a folder called PS. If I want to play uh SNES game, Super Nintendo I’ll have a folder called sfc, which is super famcom, which was the the USA name for Super Nintendo. Let’S go back now, I’m not going to do any of that, because I’m looking for the easiest way to play retro games on my fire stick or Android TV I’ll just go to recommended.
I can now go through the list here and say: let’s say, for example, Contra looks really good. I can press the button on that. It tells me that this is the emulator. It’S on I’ll have option there to download.
I can click on that. You see this option here on the top right. Just behind my head saying: do you want to download, I can press download again and we can see now it starts downloading and in less than a second it says: that’s now ready to play.
So I can click on play. I can now click on new game, and now I need to select which emulator I want to use. So it does automatically filter out the list and show you the the ones for this particular game.
So I’ll say I’ll go for the first one. So, let’s, let’s click on the download Arrow. Next to that that says downloading that says downloaded complete.
I can now select that one and now press start that then loads the game I can then press start. So we can say in about 10 seconds we were able to find a game. We downloaded that game.
It then showed us a list of compatible systems emulators, we selected an emulator, and we are now straight in here and that’s performing really nicely. Ah. Take that I think I missed out the power up. There was super easy to use. Let me get power up. Okay, there we go that’s working great now when you want it, I can press the two trigger buttons together. Okay, let’s do that now, let’s go to close content, I can now click on quit and we’re now back to the menu here. Let’S go back again and we can see now in recommended actually shows you, your recent games, that you played and really guys it’s as easy as that so go through the list. Any system you want to play. You got access to a massive library of games here. Let’S say I’m looking for a certain type of game. So if I go over to uh category, let’s say I’m looking for GBA games.
I can click on that. So I want the best games. Only that then filters out the content and shows me the best games in that list there. So here we can see we have flash Bandicoot. Let’S click on that click on download, so they really have made the process super easy. I can click on play new game.
Let’S go for the first one: click on start. Okay, I can click on English just like that. We are now emulating the GameCube, with some classic crash.
Bandicoots pick up some apples where the bad guys – and I just fell to my death there, but we can see it’s working, absolutely fine, so again to quit the game, press the two triggers down and click on close content, and we should then be out so really Guys super easy to play. You’Ve got massive Library, lots of different categories. Lots of different genres choose any game.
